Summary:

AMTIS is a manufacturing facility in search of candidates to fill open an CNC position. This position entails programming and operating a CNC Machine.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience performing set-ups and operating CNC Machines: preferably HAAS, FANUC, horizontal and/or vertical mills
• Must understand GD&T and possess the ability to perform quality checks on own parts produced using measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, dial-indicators, and micrometers
• It is imperative to possess blueprint/engineering drawing knowledge, both reading and understanding in order to properly fabricate parts to customer specifications
• Capability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects
• Flexibility to work independently and in a team oriented environment
• Good communication skills
• Expected to supply own hand tools and tool box
• Must be able to lift, carry, or relocate materials or parts weighing up to 50 pounds
• High school or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Build to print per customer furnished drawings
• Communicate questions or concerns with team members and management
• Work with the team to achieve a common end goal
• Ability to meet hard deadlines as required for a customer job
• Be present during operating hours (7:00-3:30, M-F)
