Job Summary

An industry leader in precision control products located on the north shore is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for immediate direct hire opportunity.

In this role you will design, develop, and document advanced solutions while collaborating directly with customers, sales engineers, and other departments. Proficiency in CAD design and detailing, preferably using SolidWorks, is required.

Location: BEVERLY, Massachusetts

Job type: Permanent

Salary: $90,000 - 100,000 per year

Work hours: 7am to 3pm

Education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electromechanical/mechanical products based on customer specifications and create internal and customer documentation, adhering to company and ASME standards.
• Perform analysis, troubleshooting, and testing of components and systems for both development and production products.
• Develop test and assembly procedures, fixtures, and reports to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Collaborate with purchasing and manufacturing teams to source vendors for component purchases and create bills of materials and assembly drawings within the ERP system.
• Work with departments like Quality, Manufacturing, and Assembly to evaluate deficiency reports and suggest corrective actions. Prepare deviation or change requests when customer approval is required.
• Participate in or lead root cause investigations and analyses.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects and daily engineering tasks.
• Communicate technical information effectively to sales, customers, and vendors.
• Recommend improvements to development processes and procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and project management support.

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 6 years of experience
• Education: Bachelors (required)
