Sr. Reservoir Engineer-A&D Focused | Growth-Minded E&P Team | North Dallas

A nimble, fast-growing E&P company is looking to add a Sr. Reservoir Engineer with a strong A&D mindset. You'll join a tight-knit, collaborative technical team that plays a central role in sourcing and evaluating acquisition opportunities-both marketed and off-market. This is an opportunity to take ownership in the deal cycle from scoping to execution, working closely with leadership and cross-disciplinary teams to shape the company's future.

What You'll Do:

• Lead engineering evaluations for acquisition opportunities (both operated and non-op assets).
• Forecast production and assess upside potential using internal and third-party data.
• Build and refine economic models to support acquisition decisions.
• Analyze operator trends in the Permian and other core unconventional basins.
• Help streamline internal workflows using reservoir engineering software tools.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in oil & gas engineering, with at least some time spent in A&D.
• Strong familiarity with unconventional plays.
• Proficiency in tools like ComboCurve, PHDwin, Spotfire, and Excel.
• A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and solid communication chops.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
