About HydroJug:

HydroJug is a leading hydration brand committed to providing high-quality, reusable water bottles and accessories to consumers and retailers. We are rapidly expanding into brick-and-mortar retail and private label partnerships, and we need a highly organized and driven Account Manager to help manage and grow our portfolio of retail and private-label accounts.

Role Overview:

As an Account Manager, you will oversee and nurture up to 100 small retail accounts and private label customers, ensuring seamless communication, operational efficiency, and sales growth. You will be responsible for CRM setup, reporting, and process optimization to streamline account management. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management & Growth

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for small retail accounts and private label customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with buyers, ensuring HydroJug remains a preferred brand.
  • Monitor account performance, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies to increase sales.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to clients regarding product availability, promotions, and performance.

CRM & Reporting

  • Set up and manage CRM systems and reporting tools to track customer interactions and sales trends.
  • Generate reports on account performance, inventory trends, and revenue growth.
  • Utilize data to refine account strategies and provide insights to the sales team.

Operational Excellence

  • Work within NetSuite, Asana, and Shopify to manage orders, monitor inventory, and coordinate with internal teams.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order processing for retail and private label clients.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and fulfillment teams to optimize logistics and avoid stockouts or delays.

Retail Expansion & Private Label Support

  • Assist in growing HydroJug’s brick-and-mortar presence, providing retailers with merchandising and sales strategies.
  • Work closely with private-label customers to ensure custom orders, branding, and production timelines are met.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities in the retail space.

Adaptability & Initiative

  • Be willing to take on new responsibilities and pivot based on business needs.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies in account management and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, and fulfillment) to enhance customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 2+ years of account management experience, preferably in retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM setup and reporting. Prior experience with NetSuite, Asana, and Shopify is highly preferred.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in forecasting, sales tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of brick-and-mortar retail and how to drive in-store sales is a plus.
