Optomi, in partnership, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing Tableau , Alteryx , and SQL to extract, analyze, and visualize data in order to drive strategic business decisions. You will play a key role in turning complex data into actionable insights, empowering teams across the organization to make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports, delivering interactive and insightful data visualizations for business stakeholders.
• Use Alteryx to design and automate data workflows, integrating data from multiple sources and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from relational databases, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to support business decision-making.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing reports, dashboards, and data processes.
• Continuously improve and streamline data processes and workflows, ensuring efficient data delivery and reporting.
• Present findings to business stakeholders, including senior management, and make recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in business intelligence, data analysis, and visualization tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar data-focused role.
• Expertise in using Tableau for data visualization, dashboard creation, and reporting.
• Strong experience with Alteryx for data blending, transformation, and workflow automation.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries to interact with relational databases and large datasets.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of additional BI tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with cloud-based BI tools (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data governance and data quality best practices.
• Certifications in Tableau, Alteryx, or SQL are a plus.
