Job Description

Akkodis is seeking ETL Database Tester for a Contract job with a client in Newark, DE - Hybrid (3 days onsite in a Week) . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.

Pay: $58-60/hour – All Inclusive; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Hiring Manager notes:

• ETL Database Tester – this is writing automation scripts for Database testing……NOT just Data Validation.
• Selenium/JAVA/SQL
• This is a down process stream from all Fraud/Claims applications to ensure that the transitions are being processed…..If someone was a developer who now does testing, would be a good resource

Description:

The Fraud and Claims Technology team is looking for a Quality Assurance Consultant for ongoing Machine Learning projects. The ideal candidate will have automation experience with ETL Testing.

Required Skills

- Knowledgeable on the principles of test management and testing process

- Excellent communication skills, written and oral

-Database and ETLS testing

- Automation skills required using automation tools beyond recording features; TOSCA and /or Selenium advanced coding methods expected.

- QA background with strong analytical skills, ability to decompose requirements into testable cases covering positive, negative, variety of data scenarios

- Experience in testing backend services, integrations with upstream / downstream systems

- Development / automation coding expertise a plus with demonstration of technical skills; specific technology is not important as most QA can move between different types of applications

- SME expertise in Web service testing. This includes strong understanding of XML schema, tools that support testing web service interface, JSON

- SME SQL skills including complex query writing, ability to review schema to gain understanding of db structure, ability to use variety of SQL tools to accomplish required testing

- Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment practices using Litmus or Jenkins.

- Basic competency with Git Source Control

- Automation background with strong analytical skills, ability to decompose test cases into functional test automation scripts

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Application Lifestyle Management (ALM) to manage testing and test reporting

- Experience with JIRA

- Experience testing within an Agile development lifecycle

- Experience with TOSCA or Selenium Automation Tool

- Experience in Java, C# or Python

- Experience in Robotic Process Automation

- Experience with API testing
