Job Description

Pay: $21/hr

Location: Exton, PA

Duration: 6 month contract to hire (Benefits package offered during contract period).

Insight Global is looking for an Entry Level Engineering Coordinator for our largest telecom client. This is an entry level position which requires development of knowledge in specific area of drafting, e.g., electrical drawings, mechanical drawings, or civil drawings with the ability to operate a computer-aided drafting (CAD) system. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a CAD system, and interest in the telecommunications industry.

DAY TO DAY:

1. Diagrams, schematics, layouts, multi-view, and various drawings to scale in accordance with clients' requests.
2. Mathematical, geometrical, and minor engineering computations.
3. Scale engineering drawings using computer aided drafting system
4. Detailed design drawings- This would include structure, schematic, foundation, grounding, steel, layout, equipment, apparatus, wiring, panel, AC&DC, one lines, and other type drawings necessary to produce substation, relay, and line design job packages
5. File drawings, maintain catalogs of engineering data, and perform other routine drawing room functions as required

MUST HAVES:

1. Successful completion of HS diploma or GED
2. Experience working with a computer design program (Photoshop, drafting, 3D modeling, interior design, graphic design, etc.)
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
4. Strong attention to detail
