Job Description

Service Delivery Specialist Summary:

The role requires a candidate with enterprise telecom experience, not construction project management. The individual will manage projects involving lit and dark fiber, ensuring effective customer interactions and project delivery. Strong customer service experience, autonomy, and attention to detail are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate customer meetings, status updates, and project planning with internal teams.
• Communicate customer requirements to technical teams and manage project timelines.
• Build client relationships, act as the primary contact, and ensure project success.
• Analyze critical paths, make project decisions independently, and manage risks.
• Oversee project documentation and ensure it’s up-to-date.
• Resolve issues quickly and track project progress through reports and meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years in project management, managing large-scale projects.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Skills:

• Experience in managing vendors and resources.
• Strong understanding of project management principles (scheduling, risk management).
• Knowledge of Ethernet technologies, OSP/ISP construction, and carrier installation procedures.
• Excellent client-facing communication and organizational skills.
