The NYA Fitness and Wellness Coach will:
The successful candidate should hole a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university, have two years of related and successful experience, hold a certification by a nationally recognized accredited strength and conditioning certification program for example: National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), and/or the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCSA) strength and conditioning coach certified (SCCC)). A Master’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field is strongly preferred.
Candidates should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills working with faculty, staff, and school families, along with a spirit of collaboration with all school constituencies.
