Job Description

Selby Jennings has been engaged to add a long-term hire to the investment team of a highly regarded private investments platform's Houston office. This group executes growth investments in series C-E platforms in a variety of industries, usually with a focus on asset-heavy/capital-intensive sectors and a preference for sustainable/green businesses that have a neutral or positive environmental impact.

This individual will be have the chance to join while this particular strategy's team is deploying their first fund, while enjoying the stability and opportunity that comes from the infrastructure and reach of a well capitalized platform with an excellent track record. The firm has grown to nearly $5bn in assets since it's founding in 2015, and has successfully raised two funds in the past 18 months. The team is highly meritocratic and will provide the opportunity to hit VP quickly, day one carry, and independent deal management responsibility as soon as someone demonstrates their capability.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of deal execution experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Growth Equity, or similar experience
• Industry exposure across Industrials, Energy, Infrastructure, or related sector
• Bachelors degree from top business, finance, or STEM program
• Specific interest in building businesses in the sustainability or clean infrastructure space
