HR Admin Intern

Location: Buford, GA

Reports To: HR Manager

What You’ll Do

  • Be an HR Backbone: Support the daily functions of the Human Resources department, helping to keep processes smooth, efficient, and employee-focused.
  • Onboard New Employees: Assist with the new hire experience from day one—coordinating welcome materials, organizing paperwork, tracking training schedules, and ensuring I-9 compliance.
  • Keep Records Sharp: Help maintain and audit personnel files, update employee directories, and ensure HRIS data accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Support the Team: Answer employee questions, support safety documentation, and assist with general HR communications and project needs.
  • Champion Compliance: Help ensure compliance by maintaining required documentation related to safety, benefits, and regulatory filings like OSHA and SDS.
  • Stay Organized & On It: Manage scheduling, filing, supply tracking, and basic reporting while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Gain Real-World Experience: Get a front-row seat to both strategic and operational HR functions—from onboarding to culture-building and process improvement.

What You Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • A curious, proactive mindset and willingness to learn
  • A positive attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills
