Job Description

Position: Human Resources Coordinator

Location: Gabbs, NV (Onsite Only)

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at the Gabbs, Nevada facility. This role plays a vital part in supporting various HR functions, from recruitment and employee relations to benefits administration and maintaining employee records. Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:

  • Post job openings and assist in sourcing and screening candidates.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, maintaining communication with candidates.
  • Manage pre-employment screenings and background checks.
  • Lead onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Build and nurture relationships with recruiting sources.

Employee Records Management:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records are maintained in HR databases.
  • Process employee status changes (e.g., promotions, transfers, terminations).
  • Prepare and distribute essential HR documents such as offer letters and contracts.

Benefits Administration:

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with benefit providers and corporate HR to ensure timely processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Support annual benefits open enrollment processes.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Support community outreach and volunteer programs.
  • Partner with management and corporate HR on employee engagement initiatives, such as service awards and employee events.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues and facilitate communication between employees and management.

HR Compliance and Reporting:

  • Help maintain compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Prepare HR reports and data analytics as needed.
  • Stay informed on changes in employment laws and regulations.

General Administrative Support:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling, correspondence, and managing supplies.
  • Assist with various HR projects and initiatives.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a professional office setting at our Gabbs, NV location. While regular working hours are expected, occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate recruitment events or other HR-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Professional HR certification (preferred).
  • 3+ years of prior experience in HR or administrative roles (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS (Ulti-Pro / UKG preferred).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision required.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Note: This is an onsite position in Gabbs, NV—remote work is not an option.
