Summary of the Role

This role oversees all liquid procurement , manages fluid freight carriers and contracts , and plays a key part in warehouse scheduling and logistics documentation . It requires strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and manage all fluid freight carriers and contracts
• Handle cost analysis, pricing negotiations, and delivery schedules
• Obtain quotes and negotiate favorable vendor terms
• Partner with stakeholders and ensure clear agreement on logistics processes
• Manage billing for truck detention, freight charges, and truck washes
• Oversee daily logistics for procurement and sales
• Coordinate raw milk scheduling and shipment documentation
• Support export documentation and warehouse shipping schedules
• Assist with producer communications, milk weight balancing, and order entry
• Serve as a backup to the Logistics Manager as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Excellent communication, project management, and decision-making skills
• Strong negotiation and vendor relationship experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Adobe Acrobat is a plus
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Availability to work Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with some weekend/holiday availability
