Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Des Plaines, IL

Salary: $30-35 hourly rate; 3rd shift- (11pm-7am)+OT

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our client's organization in the Morris, IL area

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair various assembly and processing equipment, including highly automated PLC controlled assembly lines and hydraulic presses.
• Troubleshoot and read schematics for pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
• Communicate information on jobs performed either manually or electronically.
• Plan and implement safety, OEE, and production-related improvements.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
• Computer skills, including sending emails and using Excel sheets.
• Demonstrated problem-solving habits.
• Preferred experience in 24V DC to 480V AC electrical systems and troubleshooting high-pressure hydraulic systems.
• Exposure to using a laptop to communicate with PLCs and troubleshoot issues.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
