Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Milling Machinist, located in Uxbridge, MA. The Milling Machinist will be responsible for operating milling machines to produce precision components according to detailed specifications. The role includes setting up and adjusting machinery, selecting tools and materials, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are critical aspects of this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating milling machines and other machining equipment
  • Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
  • Knowledge of material properties and appropriate handling methods
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Adherence to safety protocols and maintenance procedures
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
