Insight Global is currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector Supervisor to support one of our nation's top providers in engineering systems. Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise two direct reports for quality control inspections
• Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and, or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component
• Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records
• Engage with the General Contractor’s Quality Assurance Manager for inspection planning, project compliance, non-conformance management, quality audits
• Provide project quality expectations to new inspectors. Attend weekly project update meetings with the project group including upcoming activities, status and deadlines
• Reviews all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor
• Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures
• Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management
• Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities
• Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards

Must Have:

• 8+ years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector on Mechanical Engineering side (preferably on the contractor side vs owner)
• 3+ years of experience as a leading at least two direct reports or supervising quality control inspections
• Recent work experience and knowledge of ASME B31 piping codes, industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, welding, non-destructive testing, or other similar fields
• Current AWS CWI Certified Welding Inspector Certification

Compensation: $60-$65/hr with overtime opportunities.
