• Rate: $112-138/hr W2
• Location: Onsite minimally once weekly San Francisco, CA 94105 OR Atlanta, GA

Job Description:

• In this role, the Senior Manager- Revenue Recognition will be a key contributor on the technical accounting team primarily supporting our client's SSP program. This role heavily focuses on supporting the company’s SSP program and includes data and process enhancement projects. This individual will be a subject matter expert in the company’s ASC606 policies, products, and revenue system. The Senior Manager will provide support to our internal revenue team and business partners. The Senior Manager will be tasked with enhancing existing processes as well as reviewing/advising on compliant ways to and implement new go to market initiatives. This role is an independent contributor.
• Day to day: SSP analysis and related 606 activities including memo writing, supporting the revenue team and business on revenue inquiries related to strategic contracts and new go to market strategies

Must have skills: ASC606- SSP, effective communicator, technical memo writing skills

Additional Qualifications:

•Degree in accounting or relevant field; MBA or Masters’ degree is a plus.

•CPA designation is highly desirable.

•8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including 3+ years focused on revenue recognition or revenue accounting.

•Experience in a public company environment, with familiarity in working under Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and SEC reporting.

•Strong background in applying ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers) and other relevant accounting standards.
