Job Title: Commercial Lines Junior Account Executive

Location: Islandia, New York

Reports to: Commercial Lines Senior AE

Type: Full-Time

Salary: 100-110K

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Senior Account Executive to support our Commercial Lines team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career insurance professional looking to grow into a full AE role. You will assist in servicing mid-market to small business accounts, with a particular focus on marketing new and renewal business to carriers, preparing submissions, and supporting producers and senior AEs.

• Assist with servicing a book of small to mid-sized commercial lines accounts.
• Prepare and submit applications, loss runs, and other documents to carriers for marketing purposes.
• Analyze and compare carrier quotes to support coverage recommendations.
• Track and follow up on quote statuses to ensure timely turnaround.
• Support renewal and remarketing efforts by updating client data and preparing submissions.
• Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate data in the agency management system (e.g., Epic, AMS360).
• Assist in responding to client inquiries, certificate requests, and policy changes.
• Collaborate closely with producers, senior AEs, and underwriters.

• 1-3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, ideally in an agency setting with construction background
• Strong understanding of commercial lines products
• Experience with carrier portals and quoting systems.
• Proficiency in agency management systems (Epic, AMS360, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with a willingness to learn and grow.
