Overview:
We are actively hiring for Direct Hire CNC Machinists across Levels 1-3 for both 1st and 2nd shifts, with a primary focus on lathe operators. We also have limited opportunities for entry-level mill operators at a slightly lower pay scale. Ideal candidates are reliable, hands-on individuals with a commitment to producing quality parts and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathes (primary focus) and/or mills (as applicable)
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
Perform basic to complex setups depending on experience level
Make program edits and offsets as required
Measure and inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Monitor machining operations to maintain part quality and efficiency
Complete production logs and quality reports accurately
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Lathe Operator Pay Range - $24-$35/hr
Level 1 - Entry Level ($21-$24/hr):
Up to 1 year of experience or technical training
Basic blueprint reading and measuring skills
Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills
Level 2 - Mid-Level ($27-$31/hr):
2-4 years of CNC lathe experience
Able to perform setups, edits, and inspections independently
Strong understanding of machine operations and part tolerances
Level 3 - Senior ($31-$35/hr):
5+ years of CNC lathe experience
Advanced skills in setups, tooling, and program adjustments
Ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes
Mill Operator - Entry Level Pay Range: $21-$25/hr
0-2 years of CNC mill experience or training
Familiarity with basic machine operations and part inspections
Willing to cross-train and grow within the company
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Fanuc or Haas controls
Knowledge of tight-tolerance machining (aerospace/medical a plus)
Good mechanical aptitude and math skills
Strong communication and team-oriented mindset
