Well-funded Houston-based innovator seeks Unity developers to revolutionize defense and intelligence technology.

Tempest Droneworx is a cutting-edge defense technology company specializing in real-time intelligence solutions that prevent issues before they become problems. Our flagship platform, Harbinger, integrates drones, robotics, and sensors into a unified system, delivering actionable insights through advanced data visualization powered by a game engine. We are looking for an exceptionally talented Unity Developer who thrives on solving complex problems and is fanatical about efficiency in their code. You must have the ability to design and build robust systems in about one-third the time that most competent people think possible.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain Unity-based applications integrated with our Harbinger platform.
• Implement object-oriented programming principles to create scalable, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Unity front-end components with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) back-end systems.
• Optimize code for performance and efficiency in real-time data processing environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs in high-stakes scenarios.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in C# with a strong understanding of Unity development.
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming techniques.
• Familiarity with LAMP stack development, particularly PHP.
• A passion for writing efficient, clean, and maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in defense, aerospace, or robotics industries.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion or real-time data visualization.
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
